Sensei Parramore welcomed to Larne Karate Club

LARNE Karate Club recently had the honour of welcoming the Chief Instructor for the British Isles Karate Association, Sensei Brian Parramore (sixth Dan). He was accompanied by three other senior instructors, Sensei's Stephen Wilson, Robert Arthur and Les Templeton.

The purpose of the two-day visit was to grade three of the local club’s Instructors. After an intense grading Sensei Karl Platton, Frank Healy and David Maclean were awarded the fourth level of black belt - fourth Dan.

Sensei Parramore also conducted a training course putting local students through their paces.

He commented on the high standard of karate being taught within the Larne club and the professional approach of its instructors. He said members were very fortunate to have a trio of fourth Dan level instructors at the one club and he looked forward to seeing the club go from strength to strength.
