Sharron fires a hole in one

THE ladies season continues at Bushfoot with some good scores including a hole in one.

The Jubilee Cup and Wheeler Spoon competitions were won by Audrey Jamieson playing off 19 with 38 points followed by Jean Baker (25) on 37pts.

Joy Hanley claimed third place, playing off 36 with 35pts. Both Aileen Reid and Marbeth Hedley had twos.

The Peggy Nelson results Section 1 was won by Jill McIlroy (15) with 35pts. Section 2 was won by Aileen Reid with 39pts off a handicap of 16 and Section 3 was topped by 29 handicapper Eilish Clyde with 41pts.

The highlight of the day was provided by Sharron Campbell with a fantastic hole in one at the second hole. Congratulations to Sharron who now qualifies to play in the One Holers completion later in the year.

Great weather graced the fairways last week as Sandy Neill shot a super 66 to win the McAuley Cup.

Gail Morrow was second with a 69 a great score for Gail as she returns to golf following time out for surgery, and third place went to Alan Wallace, playing off 16, with 71 shots. Daphne Bustard and Maggie Cooke had twos.
