Sheila scoops monthly medal
THIRTY ladies from Portstewart Golf Club competed on the Strand Course for the Monthly medal and Pendant.
The winner was Sheila Aicken (21) with75 nett, the runner up was Brenda Strain (13) with 81 nett. Rosie King scored a two.
Sixteen ladies also competed in a qualifying stableford competition on the Riverside course on the same day. Elizabeth Weston (29) was the winner with 23 points while Eugena Porter (29) was runner up with 20 points.
Due to inclement weather conditions there were no valid competitions last Wednesday on either course.
