Six of the best!

COLERAINE Colts hit Cookstown Youths for six in a league clash on Saturday.

Victor Hunter introduced some of the Academy under 16 players to his squad for the game - and the youngsters didn’t disappoint.

With 25 minutes minutes gone, Coleraine took the lead when Johnny Dinsmore crossed the ball into the Cookstown penalty area for Ryan Doherty to score.

Ten minutes later, Dinsmore made it 2-0, when he headed the ball into the net from a cross from Conor McNamee.

With constant Coleraine pressure, goal number three followed when Ryan Doherty scored his second from close range.

Ruairi Quinn finally got the goal he deserved when he made it 4-0 to Coleraine. Quinn wasn’t happy with just one and he grabbed his second of the match five minutes later from close range.

Slack defending from Coleraine gifted Cookstown a consolation goal, but Coleraine made up for the error when Danny Dillon made it 6-1, after a good passing move.
