Sixths are left second best

GARVEY Sixths were always second best in this clash of local junior sides at Comber Road.

They found themselves three goals adrift before half time but goals from the Moorehead brothers, Curtis and Travis, and a third from Ryan West got them back to 4-3.

However, South had more fire power up front and scored two more goals to stretch their lead to 6-3 before Ally Ross, Jordan Fitzpatrick and another from Travis Moorehead reduced the deficit to 6-5 and the visitors fully deserved to take the league points in an 11 goal encounter.
