Slane Reserves into semi-final

SLANE Reserves will play St Mary’s in the semi-final of the O’Hare Cup on Saturday April 21.

They have been rewarded with a home tie which will be played at Dromore Leisure Centre.

Slane have been going well in the Cup and beat Crewe Utd in the last round away by 4-3 to set up a tasty tie against cup favourites St Mary’s who are sitting 25 places above Slane, on top of Reserve One, and have gone unbeaten this season by winning 14 of their 18 games played and drawn four.

Slane will go into this the semi-final as massive underdogs but it is a cup day and manager Marty Hanna will have his players ready for this one. Anything can happen on the day.

A massive crowd is expected to be up the lines for this game and there is a massive buzz around the Club for the Reserve team.
