The Broughshane side crushed Michelin 8-1 in their promotion play-off and will toe the oche alongside the other teams in the top flight next season.
Michelin, who had been up around the top of the table for most of the season, hit their dip in form at the worst possible period of the season and they were unable to recapture their early-season form in the play-off tie.
Michelin avoided a whitewash thanks to Bobby Carson (2-1) but that was as good as it got for the Woodisde Road outfit.
Slemish Tavern winners were Rab Lynn (2-0), Paul Rock (2-0), Willy McBurney (2-0), Ian Millar (2-0), Dean Calderwood (2-0), David McConaghie (2-0), Geoffrey Gibson (2-0) and Noel Elliot (2-0) and they can now look forward to joining Spinning Mill in the first division next season.
Paul Rock was voted as the star player for Tavern.
A total of 24 players appeared in the Coach Bar on Friday night for the reps challenge.
Following the same format as last year, a 3-a-side competition was held.
A different format than usual was used with teams playing a pairs match (1x701), a singles match (1x501) and in the event of a draw at this stage a final 3-a-side match (1x1001).
A thoroughly enjoyable night was had by those in attendance, and the majority of matches were a very close encounter.
Congratulations to Goff Wylie, Steven Eaton and Kate Lynn who were triumphant at the end of the night.
With the curtain now having come down on the playing season, the Executive Committee would like to thank all pubs, clubs, teams and players for their support throughout the past season.
Inter-League competition takes place this Saturday, May 16, in Ballylumford Club, Larne. Cost will be £5 for the bus, anyone interested must contact the Secretary ASAP.
