There was a bumper turnout for the annual Boxing Day Festival of sport at Ballymena Academy.

Current and past pupils lined out to take part in the annual rugby and hockey fixtures which have become a traditional part of the sporting bonanza.

For the first time this year, the festivities were extended to include, cycling, cross-country and tennis competitions.
