CARRICK Rangers face a huge test when they face Carling Premiership giants Portadown in the Co-Operative Insurance Cup and boss Stephen Small is relishing the challenge of going head to head with one of the country's most experienced managers in Ronnie McFall.

"Going to Portadown at any time is a daunting task for us, but at least it's a cup competition and that probably increases the prospect of an upset. They might be a bit more nervous than if it was in a league competition and, as holders of the Co-Operative Insurance Cup, there's maybe a bit of added pressure on our hosts," said the Taylor's Avenue supremo.
