SNOOKER: Full house at Triangle Snooker Club

IT was a full house at the Triangle Snooker Club for the quarter-finals of the McAuley Knock-Out Cup last Thursday night.

It looked as if there were going to be a couple of shock results when the matches between Triangble A and Triangle Hawks went to a seventh frame shoot-out as did the other game between Dunloy United and Triangle B.

In the end it was experience which counted and Dunloy and Triangle A now meet in the semi-final.

Both these matches will be played next Thursday night at the Triangle.

* In the Nevin Cup all players are asked to get their maches played as soon as possible and not hold up the competition as there is a large entry to contend with.
