Soccer camp hailed as a success

carnmoney Ladies’ Hallowe’en Spooktacular Soccer Camp was hailed a massive success.

The two-day camp featured training for 16 girls. There were seven juniors each morning and nine in the youth section each afternoon.

The camp was the club’s most successful ever with more coaching hours and bigger numbers taking part.

Each girl received their own polo-shirt for attending and spot prizes were also handed out.

The camp was led by the club’s First Kicks coach and current Northern Ireland ladies’ international, Clare Carson. “It is great to be back in Carnmoney with the girls,” she said.

“It is really pleasing for me personally to see some of our girls from our new First Kicks programme integrating with the rest of the girls in the club. The sessions I delivered over the two days have really challenged the girls with the drills on day two really progressing the initial learning we enjoyed on day one.”
