SPAR Retail Group tee off for RNLI

THE Causeway SPAR Retail Group will host their annual Golf event next week in aid of local charity RNLI.

The event, on Thursday, September 9, will bring people from across the Province to Castlerock Golf Club for a day of relaxation, entertainment, prizes and fundraising.

Chairman Wesley Wilkinson, owner of Wilkinson’s SPAR Mountsandel, Coleraine, said: “On behalf of The Causeway SPAR Retail Group, we’d like to invite everyone to support our Golf Day.

“We have already raised approximately 50,000 for various local charities. It will be a brilliant golf day with guest speakers Conor Grimes and Alan McKee, popular TV stars present and the staff from Crusoes, of Castlerock providing a wonderful barbecue for all.

“As a group of local business people, we’re proud to support this charity and see funds being put to good use in the Causeway Coast area.

“We would encourage anyone to sign up for what promises to be a great event this year again, and we are hoping that it will be as successful if not more successful than last year!”
