Sperrin Club to host to host Davy Tosh Memorial Cup doubles tournament

THE Sperrin Club in Coleraine will play host to a very special ‘Scotch Doubles’ Pool tournament on Sunday 2 June.

The competition will be held in honour of one of the club’s and the province’s greatest ever players, the late Davy Tosh with all proceeds going to the Bridgewater Suite Cancer Care Centre. The Northern Ireland international, who was a world and European team champion with his country, sadly passed away earlier this year after illness. He was a six-time Coleraine Pool Individual winner and the trophy was retired in his honour last month.

Entrants to be there before 1pm on the day or telephone either Raymond on 07753487535 or Damian on 07854366858. Entrants will be given a partner through a blind draw. There will also be a barbecue, karaoke and raffle. The event is sponsored by Stephen Warwick of the Bull’s Eye and Joey McConnell Window Cleaning.
