Breezemount, a leading UK and Ireland provider of express two-man home deliveries, have pledged ongoing support of Turkington following a 2015 campaign which ended with the Portadown ace crowned winner of the Independents’ Drivers’ Championship.

As a key supporter of Turkington, Breezemount branding will feature once again on the car, suit and helmet.

Turkington will enter the 2016 campaign in the eagerly-anticipated Subaru Levorg.

“Colin’s success in recent times confirms his status as one of the world’s best touring car drivers and to position Breezemount alongside that has been a massive result for us,” said Philip Shields, chairman of the Breezemount Group. “The excitement of his 2015 campaign ignited a passion within us to stay involved and it was made all the more thrilling by the fantastic TV coverage and exposure for our brand.

“The race weekend hospitality has been an engaging way to entertain our staff and clients, providing a live experience that is second-to-none.

“We’ve also had Colin involved in our own Breezemount Motorsport programme which has been yet another bonus for us.

“I am very proud to continue our support for the 2016 season.”

Turkington expressed his delight at the sponsorship partnership.

“To continue the relationship with Breezemount for 2016 is superb news for me,” said Turkington, a two-time champion. “I thoroughly enjoyed what we did last year and it was my goal to make sure that Philip and the rest of the company understood just how important they are to the success of the programme.

“It gives me great pleasure to see the branding so visible within the British Touring Car Championship and I hope that in 2016 we can deliver even greater results.”
