Coleraine Borough Council’s Sports Development and Physical Recreation Manager, Roger Downey said: “Council’s Sports Development Team is committed to offering a wide range of quality activities for young people in the Borough and we believe this year’s Programme will exceed expectations.

“Council has introduced new activities such as Coarse Fishing, Courts Sports, Mountain Biking, Paddle Boarding, Racket Sports and an Indoor Intensive Skills Soccer Camp for four to eight year olds and adapted traditional courses to appeal to a wider audience. Each course is designed to increase the participant’s skill level but more importantly the emphasis is on having lots of fun.

“The sports courses will cost £30.00 per person, per course with special discount tickets priced at £24 per person, per course. Discounts will be available to those with a current Access to Leisure Card and enrolling for a minimum of three courses per household which must be booked at same time.

“Enrolment commences at Coleraine Leisure Centre on Saturday 7th June from 8.15am for all sports courses and we encourage those interested to get there early as space will be limited. Interested parties should also note that they will only be permitted to register one family on the initial day of enrolment.”
