Bryan Edgar and Gerry O’Doherty were our two representatives, as part of a County Londonderry/Derry composite team, with the remainder coming from City of Derry Spartans, with the first 6 finishers to count towards the team placings to count.

In the fast and furious racing, with all the top X-Country specialists in Ireland taking part, Bryan ran strongly to finish 23rd in the MV50 category while Gerry had an excellent run, finishing in 29:19 and clinching 2nd place in the MV60 category. These excellent performances from our boys enabled their County team to finish a fine 4th Overall in the competition with, Bryan and Gerry being the first two home for their team.
