St Malachy’s Castledawson

THE Committee, Players and Members of St Malachy’s GAC regret the deaths of Seamus Doherty and Frank Hardy, uncles of Damien and great uncles of Kevin. We also regret the deaths of former player Frank Maguire and Susanna McMurray Grandmother of Malachy. May they rest in peace.

The Club’s AGM was held on Wednesday December 7th and the following were elected to the Executive Committee:

Lotto numbers drawn on December 12th were 1,2,8 and 19. There was no jackpot winner so £25 goes to Sean Gallagher and John McKenna. The Lotto is the Club’s financial lifeline and you can support us by buying tickets from any Committee member. The Jackpot now stands at £3,400.

Last Man Standing is down to 81 players now with only 9 on 2 lives. For those left in it will be a very tight turnaround next weekend as there are mid week games and on St Stephen’s Day.

St Malachy’s has launched the Tour of Doire 2012. The 2 day cycling event on May 5th and 6th will raise funds for local charities and the Club. More details are available on the website.
