Stand to re-open
THe Crescent Stand at Mourneview Park is to re-open.
Following a recent meeting involving members of the Glenavon Board of Directors, Michael Boyd, Community Relations Officer IFA and a group of supporters, coupled with ongoing discussions with supporters, the Board in consultation with the club’s ‘Qualified Person’ and Safety Officer has decided that the Crescent Stand will re-open for the Carling Premiership game against Ballymena United on the Saturday, February 25.
On the basis that no significant problems or safety issues arise out of the re-opening of the Crescent Stand for the Ballymena game, it will remain open for the remainder of this season.
