Storming success for Mixed Foursomes team
The Banbridge GUI Mixed Foursomes team, captained by Eamon and Regina McConville, won their first round match against Mannan Castle in some style.
The match was played at the neutral venue of Warrenpoint and the Banbridge players found it very much to their liking.
Anne Magennis and Paul McAleavey won three and two.
Mildred Hodgett and Harry Shannon won three and two.
Fionulla Crossey and Sean McGreevey won five and four and that was that.
Gina McConville and Kieran Magennis were called in as were Denise McBrien and Gordon Haire.
This was a very impressive team performance. Their future looks bright.
