Stuart has a happy St Paddy's Day

FOURTEEN year old Stuart Sinnamon, Blackskull had a good St. Patrick's Day while fishing on the main lake at Islandderry Fishery, Dromore landing a total of 12 trout on a peach egg fly with his four best fish weighing in at 6lb 8, 7lb 2, 7lb 8 and 7lb 9.

Leanne Allen, Lurgan released a lovely 7lb fish caught on a egg fly of the bank on the main lake, while partner Andy Ure, Lurgan released 12 trout which included a 10lb 14, 8lb 8, 7lb 14 and 6lb 8 fish.

Ronnie McFadden, Lisburn was fishing his own cats whisker pattern to release eight trout while Paul Sinnamon was fishing the Hollow Springs lake to release 19 on a Copper John.

Bookings are now being taken for the Easter Monday fly fishing competition on the main lake and the junior fly fishing competition on the Hollow Springs lake on Good Friday.
