Success for Grammar trio at Ulster Schools’ Championship

Three Carrickfergus Grammar School pupils competed successfully in the Ulster Schools’ Multi-Event Championships at the Mary Peters Track, Belfast on Thursday (September 19).

Christian Robinson, Jake Porter and Karl McLean, all in Year 13, finished first, second and fifth respectively.

The multi-event competition incorporates the 100m hurdles, high jump, long jump, shot put, 200m and 800m.

Christian and Jake will now progress to the Irish finals, set to be held in November, and everyone at the school wishes them the best of luck.
