This year has seen the club go from strength to strength with the help of organisations sponsoring them, such as Lloyds TSB Foundation for Northern Ireland, Sport Lisburn and Volunteer Now, which has enabled the club to run many programmes to promote Chinese King Fu, including summer schemes in the Lisburn LeisurePlex as well as exercise programmes in local primary schools to promote an active and healthy lifestyle.

Special thanks also go to the Ascert Group for providing drugs and alcohol awareness training to members of the club, as well as Maureen Bruce, a Lisburn Health development worker who has worked together with the club to organise many programmes and promote Martial Arts in the community.

The club also held workshops in the Lisburn YMCA with disability groups in an attempt to introduce a little of the Chinese culture to them as well as encouraging them to participate in more sports and recreation.

Following the success of the schemes organised by the club, they intend to run more programmes and schemes to help the club expand and promote the Chinese culture.
