Successful season for Slemish hockey teams

SLEMISH College has enjoyed a very successful hockey season at various age groups.

Congratulations go to the school’s Under 13 team who won the NI Integrated Hockey Finals at Loughmoss leisure centre recently, beating Parkhall College 3-0.

Player of the match Charis Thompson scored 2 goals and Kendra Kemp scored the final goal to secure a comfortable win.

Slemish’s Year 8 team were runners up in the NI Integrated Hockey Finals.

They finished joint top of the table on 12 points with Sperrin who were the eventual winners of the competition on goal difference.

Finally congratulations to Slemish College’s 1st X1 who, captained by Alix Johnston, won their group in the NI Integrated Hockey Finals when they beat Lagan College 3-0.

Kirsten Black scored a super penalty flick and Sally Flaherty scored 2 fantastic goals.
