'Sum' effort, Martin
FINANCIAL ace Martin Freeman tidied up his figures well on Saturday at Bushfoot Golf Club and won the Challenge Shield and the Scratch Cup.
This was the second round of both and Martin posted a stableford score of 42 points to give himself a total of 82 points for overall victory.
On the day second spot went to Davie Harper for his 41 points and third spot to Bill Howerd for his contribution of 40.
In the Scratch Cup martin again came top of the heap with a gross 69 on the day and a total of 141 for the 36 holes. Jason Campbell’s 156 was good enough for runners up spot.
