Seven pupils represented the Prep at this event, competing against pupils from all over the province, in both individual and team events.

Two pupils reached the finals of their individual events. Sasha Quinn, P6, made the finals of the Under 10 Butterfly and finished in sixth place, while Noah Poots, P6 was a finalist in the U10 Backstroke, also finishing sixth.

Both these pupils, plus Ryan Raffo, P4, Sophie Kidd, P5, and Anna Monteith, P7, swam in times fast enough to qualify them for the Irish Schools’ Minor Swimming Championships, due to be held later in the year.

Well done to all of the pupils who took part in the championships, and good luck to those who will compete at the Irish Schools’ event.
