Table tennis coaching at Academy

ACADEMY Strongtower Table Tennis club in conjunction with Table Tennis Ulster has arranged for table tennis coaching to take place in the sports hall in Ballymena Academy in the second week of August.

Top Irish international table tennis player and coach, Amanda Mogey, will be in charge of the coaching.

The course will start on the 8th of August and run for three consecutive days. A morning session from 10am to 12 noon will cater for beginners or improvers between the ages of 8 and 14. The afternoon sessions run from 1pm to 3pm and cater for advanced or club players aged between 11 and 18.

Only 16 places are available for each session so register early to avoid disappointment. The cost for the course is £10 and registration forms and further information can be obtained from Amanda Mogey on 028 90383811 or by e-mailing Amanda at [email protected]

Children attending the course are advised to wear t-shirts and tracksuit bottoms/shorts and trainers. No jeans are allowed.

The Academy Strongtower table tennis club encourages all its eligible players to support the coaching in preparation for the season commencement on the 13th September at 7.30pm. New members will be made especially welcome.
