GUI Mixed Foursomes Qualifing – A talented team travelled to Downpatrick last week and in a very high quality event just failed to qualify for the matchplay stages.

Best score was from Mildred Hodgett and William Malcomson – a superb 68.

Irish Junior Cup - One of the most successful teams in recent years played their first round match last week at Lisburn.

Despite losing the first match Banbridge players turned on the style in the remaining games and an exciting finish saw Neil Madeley hit two magnificent shots on to the first green for a two putt birdies to see Banbridge through at tie holes.

Cometh the hour cometh the man – well done Neil.

Ronan Rafferty - Banbridge played Mourne in the first round last Tuesday night at Newcastle.

The boys struggled with the links golf on the first 9 holes but came back strongly on the second nine holes.

The result was a 12–8 victory for Banbridge and the boys look forward to the second leg – there is work still to be done!
