Temporary closure of council pitches
THE entire North West Junior Football programme has been cancelled this weekend, due to the wintry cold-snap.
Although all Coca/Cola Irish Junior Cup ties have not been postponed yet, it’s believed matches up and down the province will be called off later this week.
Derry City Council advises the public that all Council pitches are closed this weekend, due to the adverse weather conditions.
All grass, synthetic and MUGA pitches are affected.
Derry City Council would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
