TENNIS: Charity Tennis Fun Tournament and Fun Day

PAUL Logan Tennis Coaching is serving up a Charity Fun Tennis Tournament and Fun Day this Saturday.

The event, in aid of Save The Children, will be held at Anderson Park tennis courts in Coleraine from 11am to 4pm.

The day is aimed at children of all ages and adults. Even if you have never played tennis you are invited to go along and join in the fun.

There will be face painting, bouncy castle, barbecue, cake stall, music, tennis coaching, children’s and adult tournaments and an adult and child tournament as well as a raffle.

The entry fees are £2 per child for childrens coaching and £3 per child for the children’s tournament.

Adults will be charged £5 to take part in the adult tournament.

Entry to the child and adult tournament also allows free entry to the adult and child tournament.

There will also be a hoola hoop show, prize-giving with David McClarty MLA, raffle draws and also a talk from Save the Children to let everyone know where the money raised will go.

Estimated schedule of events:

* Children’s Tennis Coaching, ages 4-7: 11.15am-12noon;

* Children’s Tennis Tournament, ages 8-12 11.30-1pm;

* Adults Tournament, ages 12 and over: 12.30pm-2pm;

* Adult and Child Tournament: 2pm-3.30pm.

Chartiy Quiz

PAUL Logan Tennis Coaching is holding a Charity Quiz Night at Coleraine Bowling Club on Friday, June 22 from 8pm.

The cost is £6 per team for up to six players. All proceeds go to Save The Children.
