FANCY DRESS - Rathfriland FC are holding a fancy dress disco in aid of club funds on Saturday November 6 at 8pm. Tickets are priced at a very reasonable 5 each and anyone interested please see your manager or any member of the committee.

YOUTH REGISTRATION AND FOOTBALL - Wednesday nights from 7-8pm at Rathfriland FC for the rest of August will see Registration followed by football.

All age groups are welcome from 5-15 years and for new registrations players will need two passport size photographs and a copy of the birth certificate. Membership for the season is 20 with a 2 charge per training night.

YOUTH FOOTBALL TRAINING CHANGES: U15 training will take place on Tuesday at Rathfriland Community Centre from 6-7pm. U13 training will take place on Wednesday at Rathfriland Community Centre from 7-8pm. The rest of the age groups continue at Iveagh Park on Wednesday from 7-8pm.

IN COMMITTEE! - The September committee meeting will take place on Tuesday October 19 at 7.30pm at the clubrooms.

DATES FOR YOUR DIARY - Saturday December 6 - Fancy dress fundraising night; Saturday December 11 - Annual Christmas dinner and Christmas draw.

NEW KIT FOR COLTS - Rathfriland Colts would like to thank the Beacon drop-in centre, Rathfriland for agreeing to have their name on the new kit. An anonymous sponsor purchased the kit for the team and wished to have the Beacon's name on it. SPONSOR BOARDS - It is the intention of Rathfriland FC to continue to surround the main Iveagh Park pitch with Sponsorship boards over the coming months.

There will be an initial fee for the set up of the board and also a sponsorship subscription, which would be renewed annually. A big thank you goes to al the local businesses for their sponsor boards at Iveagh Park.

FIXTURE BOARD: SATURDAY OCTOBER 30: RANGERS - Saturday October 30 - home to Annagh Utd in Intermediate Cup. Kick off 1.30pm. SWIFTS - Saturday October 30 - no fixture. COLTS - Saturday October 30 - home to Killough in league. Kick off 2pm.

RANGERS HOME IN INTERMEDIATE CUP - Rathfriland Rangers host Annagh Utd in the 1st round of the WKD Intermediate Cup at Iveagh Park on Saturday. Rangers have had two great results in the last couple of weeks and hope to continue that on Saturday against the Championship 2 side. Kick off 1.30pm.

SWIFTS NO FIXTURE - Rathfriland Swifts this Saturday have a break and have no fixture. Their next fixture is away to Lurgan BBOB on Saturday November 6. COLTS v KILLOUGH - This Saturday Rathfriland Colts host league leaders Killough in a league fixture at Ingram Park. The Colts had a decent 3-1 home win last weekend and are on a run at the moment - another three points would do nicely. Kick off 2pm.
