The Legends are back

FOLLOWING on from the unprecedented success of the Carling Presents an Evening of Legends events last season, fans will be glad to hear that this season's events kick-off this month.

Glenavon FC’s Mourneview Park was the venue for the first of twelve Carling Legends nights with fans getting up close with Denis Guy, Terry Nicholson, Lee Doherty and Tony Grant last Thursday night.

The free events, as always, will be hosted by the BBC’s Jackie Fullerton and allow fans to quiz the legends and star players of their team, get a picture taken with them and the Gibson Cup, as well as enjoy some ice-cold Carling.

Jordana Busby, Brands Manager Molson Coors, is looking forward to another season of Legends events.

She said: “The Carling Legends evenings help the fans get closer to legends and star players from their favourite teams in the Carling Premiership.

“The response we had from fans last season was fantastic and we are pleased to be able to bring the Legends evenings back. With Jackie Fullerton in control of the microphone again, I’m sure the banter will be flowing as fans have the chance to put the players and legends under the spotlight with some probing questions!”

Tickets for these exclusive events are free but places are limited.
