There’s plenty to celebrate at Finals Day at Brookgreen Bowling Club

BROOKGREEN Bowling club brought the curtain down on their outdoor season last week with their Finals Day and barbecue at the club.

The Coleraine club enjoyed another successful season as they finished as winners of NIPBA Division Two and also came out on top in the Hyland Donaghy Cup.

The incoming President, Bill Howard, welcomed all the players and guests to the Brook Street venue.

Before play commenced a minute’s silence was observed in memory of two members who had sadly passed away during the season - Robbie Steele and Harry Sweeney.

The crowds who attended on the day were treated to a fine afternoon of bowling. The club are already looking forward to next season.

New members will be made very welcome and application forms are available from the club Secretary.
