Melvyn Logan’s boys conceded a goal from the first attack of the match but got back on level terms whern Ross Nelson fired home when the ball broke to him in the box.

Ballymena were causing Ballinamallard problems and took the lead when Peter Duffin scored from a penalty when he was brought down.

Ballinamallard got their second just before half time when Chris Bradley made a great save from a powerful shot but couldn't stop the ball going over the line.

The second half saw a big, strong Ballinamallard team dominate Ballymena and get three more goals
