Thompson fires Whites revival

FOR the second week in a row Lisburn Distillery won on the road - this time clinching a crucial three points in the battle of the bottom two at Drumahoe.

The Whites are now just six points behind Institute who they have to play twice so the revival is now on for Tommy Wright's men.

The home team struck the front through Kevin Ramsey but Neal Gawley levelled matters on 51 minutes.

Gary Thompson made it 2-1 for the visitors but Ramsey made it 2-2 and a draw seemed on the cards.

But then Thompson hit his second of the day with a neat finish to stun the home team and keep the Whites' survial hopes alive.
