Timings tight in second round of league at Lime Park

Riders were treated to a fantastic day’s jumping on Sunday with timings nail-bitingly tight at Lime Park Equestrian.

The sun shone and the competitors were out in force for the second week of the league.

Courses flowed and jumping was good with plenty of room to warm up in the outdoor arena.

90cms open ponies proved great fun with eight competing against the clock. Timings were tight with just 0.01 of a second between first and second.

The next show is this Sunday (16 November) starting at 11am for ponies beginning with beginners followed by 50cms, 65cms, 80cms & 90cms open.

Horses will start at 2.30pm APPROX. Competitions will include 70cms, 80cms, 90cms, and 1.00mtr and 1.10mtr.

Competitions will be run as a two round class and ridden American Style. All riders will get to jump their second round regardless of faults in first round.

Beginners will be one round of jumping and riders can be lead in this competition.

Competitors must attend three shows out of five plus the final to qualify and must be the same horse/pony rider combination. Pony size is classed as 14.2hh or 148cms.

As in previous years, all riders who qualify will receive a prize in the final regardless of how they jump.
