Runner-up with a tally of 37 points was Sean Kennedy. New member Sean was playing off a twenty-six handicap. Sean recorded 17 and 20 points for the respective nines. Over the round a birdie two at the third and pars at holes eleven and thirteen were the highlights of his winning round. A couple of triple bogeys at holes four and seven were his only wayward efforts.

Third net in the competition went to Martin McKinstry. This fourteen handicapper struggled slightly over the opening nine and could only muster 15 points at the halfway juncture. He rallied and did well to attain 21 points over the vital back nine. On the day a birdie at the tenth and pars at holes eight, twelve, sixteen and eighteen guided him safely into third spot. Five other players had 36 points but they were just edged out of the awards. This list included Martin McNeice, Barry Lappin, Brian P Robinson, Craig Turkington and Fintan McCann.

The gross award went to six handicapper Lawrence McGrady. He registered 29 gross points and just edged out Gareth Moore on the back nine. Lawrence grabbed six pars on the front nine. However he lost four strokes over holes two, four and five. A further seven pars came his way on the back nine. However a double bogey at the fifteenth and a bogey on seventeen detracted from this consistent performance.
