Torrington top at Brown Trout

THE 18 hole weekend sweep at the Brown Trout played over two days was dominated by the Saturday morning players taking advantage of the conditions with all three prize winners coming from this group

The winner was Maurice Torrington (13) who showed very consistent form playing the first nine in three over and the second in four over giving him 21 points on each nine. Two points back runner/up Alan Smyton (25) opened with 18 points before adding 22 for 40 points. Third prize, with 39 points, Ronnie Engall (13) played well scoring 19 over the first nine and helped by a birdie at the 15th. added 20.

The twos kitty was won by Ronnie Milliken with two twos scored at the same hole the 4th. and 13th.
