HIGGINS’ MATCHDAY SPONSORSHIP - A massive thankyou from the committee of Rathfriland FC goes to Adrian Higgins of Banbridge, for his generous matchday sponsorship for Rangers` last game of the season at home to Sirocco on Saturday past. Adrian has been a regular sponsor to the club and this latest gesture is equally much appreciated. Thanks again.

RATHFRILAND FC ANNUAL DINNER DANCE AND AWARDS NIGHT - Rathfriland FC will be holding their end of season dinner and awards night at the Burrendale Hotel, Newcastle this Friday May 24 at 7.15pm. Music is by Shogunne. A bus will be leaving Church Square, Rathfriland at 6.30pm sharp.

SUPER ALLY! - Well done to Rangers striker Ally Wilson who, for the second season running, has scored 50 plus goals! Last season Ally broke the all time Rathfriland goalscoring record helping himself to 51 goals but amazingly he has surpassed that this season with 53! Well done Ally!

RAINING GOALS! - Did you know that Rathfriland`s two promoted teams both scored 255 goals between them this season? Rangers, who are now promoted to Division 1A in the Amateur League, after finishing a point behind Immaculata scored 135 goals in their campaign while the Swifts Reserves, who won the Reserve Division 4 title, scored 120 goals!

BEST WISHES - Best wishes for a speedy recovery goes to Swifts Reserves captain Darryl O’Reilly who suffered a nasty ligament injury on Friday night and will be out of action for a number of weeks.
