RANGERS AWAY TO BLOOMFIELD - Rathfriland Rangers this Saturday travel to Bloomfield for a league fixture.

Bloomfield are in mid table and Rathfriland will want to put in a very professional performance to keep them at bay in their push for promotion. Kick off is at 2pm.

SWIFTS NO FIXTURE -Rathfriland Swifts this Saturday have no fixture.

SWIFTS RESERVES AWAY IN CUP QUARTER FINAL - Rathfriland Swifts Reserves this Saturday travel to Seagoe Reserves in the quarter final of the Mid Ulster League Cup. Seagoe are in the lower sections of Reserve Division Three but nevertheless Rathfriland should have enough in the tank to collect a place in the semi finals. Kick off 2pm.

COLTS AT HOME TO CARRYDUFF - Rathfriland Colts this Saturday play their first home fixture at Iveagh Park in a number of weeks and will be hoping that home advantage will see them over the line. Kick off 2pm.

MIDWEEK SPECIAL - With the start of the lighter evenings, this week sees the commencement of a busy run in for Rangers. Tomorrow night (Wednesday April 3) Rangers host Lisburn Rangers in a league match at Iveagh Park. There have been great crowds at recent home games and it would be great to see the same on the first midweek game of the year. Kick off is at 6.30pm – get there early to avoid disappointment!

RETURN OF THE RYANS - Great to see Rangers` player Ryan Evans return for Rangers on Saturday in a substitute appearance – his first since breaking his leg in the Border Cup final at the end of December. Also brilliant to see Ryan Monaghan return to playing foe the Swifts Reserves after a very nasty leg break back in the early part of the season. Best wishes lads for the rest of the season.

COMMITTEE MEETING - The April committee meeting will take place at the clubrooms Tuesday 16th April at 7pm. Please note the new earlier start time.

SENTRY DUTY - Saturday April 6 – Bicks, Roy, Eric; Saturday April 13 – Karen, Lindsay, Donna.

BEST WISHES - Best wishes to Rathfriland Swifts Resrves player Liam McGivern who sustained a nasty leg injury on Saturday in the match against Donacloney. Liam finished up on crutches and everyone at the club wishes him a speedy recovery.
