Town Juniors defeated by Hillsborough

This was a game that Banbridge really shouldn’t have lost after they had dominated for long periods of the game but just couldn’t find the net.

The Juniors started well putting pressure immediately on the Hillsborough defence as Stephen McCavitt almost opened the scoring after 10 minutes when he struck a superb free kick that went just inches over the crossbar.

David Gray and Ryan Williamson also had chances but it was Hillsborough who went ahead after 22 minutes.

Hillsborough got a second three minutes into the second half. Banbridge continued to press hard but despite a lot of possession never looked like scoring.
