TRIATHLON: SPAR sponsor local Causeway Coast Triathlon

PORTRUSH will once again, provide the venue for a major test of athletic endurance on Sunday 19 June.

Top competitors from around the Island of Ireland and further afield will take part in the SPAR Causeway Coast Triathlon, which is organised and hosted by the Triangle Triathlon Club based in Coleraine.

Participants must complete a 1.5km swim in the sea before changing to the challenging 40km cycle course and finishing with a gruelling 10km run.

The triathlon takes place on Sunday June 19th at 9am, at the East Strand in Portrush where local residents and holiday makers will be able to cheer on the athletes as they bid for glory.
