Tribute to much-loved bowler

A well-known Eglantine bowler, Thomasena Mackin, has died at the age of 73 years.

Better known in the local bowling fraternity as Ena, she was a member of the Eglantine club for over 20 years and she will be missed, not only by the Eglantine members, but also all those who knew and respected her.

The funeral service was held in St Matthew’s Parish Church Broomhedge, where Ena was a parishioner and there was a large attendance.
