Trophy four-timer for Slemish College hockey teams

SLEMISH College sides enjoyed stunning success in last week's Northern Ireland Integrated Cup finals at Lough Moss Leisure Centre.

The under-13s beat Lagan College 2-0, with Jenny Black opening the scoring from a reverse stick shot, while Courtney Downey grabbed the second from a clever pass by Vicky Carlton.

The under-14s beat Lagan College on penalty flicks after an exciting 2-2 draw, where Sarah Flaherty and Kirsten Black were on target.

In the penalty shootout, goalkeeper Megan Hamill was in excellent form to guide her side to victory.

Laura Devenney struck a late winner against Sperrin College to settle the under-15 winner in Slemish's favour, while there was also a 1-0 scoreline in the senior final, where Erin Rainey's goal inside the opening five minutes proved the decisive moment.

The girls have thanked all their coaches for their hard work.
