Two tough ties in PG double header

This week, Dunbarton get back into Private Greens league action with two fixtures that they have found rather difficult in the past.

Pickie are first up as they visit Gilford on Tuesday evening (tonight) looking to be the first team to stop the locals so far this season.

The Bangor side are always a dangerous opponents to come up against and Dunbarton will know they can match any side in the league on their day.

On Saturday afternoon, Dunbarton will travel to Belfast to face Ewarts.

This venue has always proved a difficult one for the local side, but if they can come out of these next two games remaining unbeaten, it will mark a great start to the season. And the team will be able to take the feel-good factor into the upcoming week’s break leading into the Inter Association weekend.

Dunbarton, of course, are looking to maintain their 100 per cent start to the league season. It could scarcely have gone better so far as they have seen off Old Bleach, Larne and Belmont in three impressive victories so far.
