The first goal came when Garvey intercepted a pass and after a couple of good passes, won another short corner. This time Jenna Flynn made no mistake with a well-placed shot.

Ten minutes later, Jenna got her and Garvey’s second with another good finish from a short corner.

Garvey continued to dominate the half with constant pressure through some exciting play with Sophie McNeice running the game from midfield.

Randlastown had made some changes at half-time and had a period of good play where they took control and were able to convert their only two chances to gain a draw.

In the end, a very disappointing result for all the chances Garvey created. However, it was a very good team performance and the girls were unlucky to come up against an excellent performance from the opposition keeper.
