The Red Hand’s have been struck by two injuries with the withdrawals of Kyle Coney (groin) and Ronan O’Neill (cruciate ligament) but Carrickmore native Gormley says says given Tyrone are currently undefeated this year there’s no reason why they can’t use this form to win the 2012 final. Tyrone have had success within the top division with back to back titles in ‘02,’03 and hope to re-enter the fray for next season.

Corkman Michael Shields considers experience to be a key factor to reclaiming the division one title.

The Togher native believes experience is key and hopefully Cork can draw on their last two victories and make this year a hat trick.

“Getting the matches right is the biggest thing on the day.

We have won it the last two years and their is no reason why we can’t say it and hopefully we can use that experience to get across the line.”
