U11s are league champions

WELL done to Moneyslane U11s who lifted the League Cup on Saturday over at the Carnbane League Complex.

It was a great morning for the young Slane side who played a hard fought game and came out on top in a penalty shoot out.

The game ended all square at the final whistle at 0-0 and then it was the dreaded spot kicks.

Moneyslane were eventual 4-3 winners over Brookvale Devils with Callum Hayes, Matthew Neill, David Baxter, Ryan Sloane, and Joel Hayes scored for Moneyslane and Dylan Moan, Ryan Travers, and Callum Elliott scored for Brookvale Devils.

The ‘Player of the Match’ award went to Moneyslane’s Zara Malcolmson in her first season playing for the U11s. Zara has a great future in front of her for the club.
