U13s suffer second loss

Banbridge Town U13 0

Dromara Village 2

BANBRIDGE'S U13s suffered their second defeat in the Lisburn Invitational League when they again failed to make the most of early opportunities and were in the end deservedly beaten by Dromara.

Having spurned a good chance in the opening minute, Banbridge has the better of the play in the first quarter.

However, they couldn’t find the breakthrough and were punished with two Dromara goals before the interval.

Dromara grew in confidence after the break and were denied a third goal when a header smashed off the bar. Town, playing at Havelock for the first time this season, seemed oddly bereft of ideas and tended to overcomplicate things when a more direct option may have been better.
