Sunnyside got their first on the half hour mark when a great run from Higgins saw him beat three Seagoe defenders and cut the ball back to Farr, who kept a cool head and finished well.

Sunnyside got a second only a minute later when Danny Thompson delivered a great ball into the box and Higgins was there to finish from close range. Sunnyside should have killed the game off and had numerous chances with Caolin McCauley, McClure and Farr involved in all the good attacking play.

The second half saw one change with the injured McCauley coming off for Adam Kelly. Sunnyside started just as they left off in total control of the game and always looking dangerous on the attack.

The back four of Tommy Turley, Cameron McCarten, Ruairi McCann and Danny Thompson were outstanding and it took a 20-yard free kick totally against the run of play to get Seagoe back into the game.

This was a really good team performance with all the lads playing well. Man of the match was Tom Higgins with a goal and two assists.
