Ulster call-ups
LARNE Grammar School hockey stars Ayeisha McFerran and Ruth Maguire have been selected for the Ulster under-16s Inter-Provincial Series which takes place at Stormont this weekend.
Ayeisha plays as a goalkeeper, and was an integral part of Larne Ladies’ successful Double winning side last season. She now plays for Randalstown Ladies.
Ruth Maguire, along with Ayeisha, represented Ulster under-16s in the summer as part of a three-day tournament in Dublin in which the team went unbeaten.
